Becca is an empathetic and skilled art therapist with a deep commitment to supporting individuals on their healing journey. She holds a Master's degree in Art Therapy and Counseling (MAATC), Registered Art Therapist (ATR) and is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA), with extensive experience in providing therapeutic interventions for individuals facing eating disorders, LGBTQIA+ issues, borderline personality disorder, depression, ADHD, anxiety, and family-related challenges. Her work exemplifies a strategy that is in line with Health at Every Size (HAES), is body-neutral, anti-racist and queer-affirming care.
With a passion for helping others unlock their creative potential, Becca employs art as a powerful tool for self-expression and exploration. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in the belief that the creative process can bring about transformative healing and personal growth.
Becca's primary focus lies in working with individuals dealing with eating disorders, where she specializes in providing care at the ambulatory level, PHP/IOP. She is well-versed in tailoring art therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of each person, fostering a supportive environment where clients can safely process their emotions and thoughts related to disordered eating patterns. Through the art-making process, clients gain insight, develop coping skills, and build a positive relationship with their bodies.
